Maxi dress for woman 5'9"

I'm looking for a maxi dress that I can wear on the beach and dress up at night.. I ordered one from Boden but when it came it was 3" too short.

Has anyone bought any dresses recently that are floor length? I've looked at lots online but have no idea how long they are ...

Weirdly longest is from Animal.

I have one from monsoon which is v v long. Feck knows how any shorter than me could walk in it without tripping over tbh. It's the perfect length.

I'm 5' 10" and got some lovely long ones from H&M.

I got a beautiful perfect length one from Monsoon, a bargain in the sale.
