Hello style and beauty board!

I normally use Rimmel's Scandaleyes chubby pencils (in bronze) but im getting sick of their meltiness. At this time of year, my office turns into an oven and by the time i get home, my eyeshadow has migrated to the creases of my eyelid which is obviously SUCH a good look!

Any recommemdations on your favourite 'will not budge', easy to apply and smudge eyeshadows? My tendency is to just smudge my eyeshadow around my eyes so i need something i can do that with. I just know that you guys will have the intel Wink

I like Laura Mercier. I've got one of the big palettes and find it v g. Though tbh most days I tend to just use Laura Mercier eyeliner (I partic like Black Gold in summer) and smudge it a bit and then apply mascara. Would def recommend the eyeliner too.

I've just looked that up, love the 'brown copper' colour from the same range too. Thanks for the suggestion!

Have you tried using an eyeshadow primer all around your eye before your usual eyeshadow pencil? That should do the trick. Urban Decays is best but NYX do a very good cheaper one too.

NYX also do some good eyeshadow pencils too and ime they have pretty good staying power.

I've just bought an nyx palate I'm very impressed with how long it lasts

Also try the Laura Mercier eye primer underneath your eyeshadow

Interested!

You need an eye primer. I love the Laura Mercier eye basics. I use the palest one and it creates an even colour and a base that means my eyeshadow isn't wrinkled or melted at all even at bedtime.

Bobbi Brown longwear cream shadow sticks are great. I use them all the time and have never had any creasing
They do a great range of colours. I love the golden pink with a dark brown for shading but they do all sorts of coppery ones too

Ooh Ivor they look gooood - thanks for the tip. The golden pink one looks right up my street.

I used to use the Urban Decay eden eye primer and it just wasn't doing the job anymore so switched to this fantastic product....this is amazing, invisible, quick drying and eyeshadow stays put all day even after an 11 hour shift at work

I really like Bobbi Brown long wear cream eyeshadow (in a pot). It doesn't budge at all. Fab stuff x
