Wedding Guest Outfit Inspiration Please!

I have two weddings to go to in July and August. Annoyingly, people who are at the first wedding will also be at the second wedding so two outfits needed. For once in my life I decided to be organised in advance and have dresses made so that they fit properly. I find shopping a nightmare at the best of times but even worse when it comes to formal/dressy occasions because so few places seem to cater for my shape. I'm 5'9, size 16 and 34GG bra size.
So, I've bought some lovely fabric. Some navy satin, some dusty rose type satin and a deep purple with a sheer purple overlay that has very pretty gold embroidery.
Now that I have the material, I'm not sure where to start in terms of inspiration for dress style! I'm early 30's, tend to shop in places such as River Island, Zara, etc. Quite curvy but conscious of my less than flat tummy.
Do any of you lovely ladies have an dress styles in mind that you think would work for my size, shape, age and the occasions?

Hi OP, I'm 15 years older than you but same body type (tall apple). With the satin (navy or dusty roe) I would go for a cowl type neckline, draped, with the rest of the body cut on the bias. Knee length or just below. With the purple embroidery I would go for a simple shift dress with cap sleeves, gold sandals and gold clutch. Both styles (bias cut cowl neck and shift) are flattering to tummies.

Plus this jacket with the navy dress:

You'll get a lot of wear from a simple but well cut dress and the jacket you'll wear with jeans many times.

Get some comfy silver or gold heels that you can wear for both outfits.

Thanks Maraki. Luckily I already have gold and silver shoes to go with whatever I end up with.

I thought about a shift dress too but I just can't see it on my frame.
Sometimes I feel like I have body dysmorphia. I feel huge :(

I'm an inch shorter and a 16. I struggle with finding shift dresses that don't make my stomach stick out, so I tend to stick with skater style or fit and flare. I love boat and Bardot necklines (which sadly give me shelf boob) or cowl necks like Maraki suggested. Just below the knee might be good for a wedding.

Last year I went to two weddings two weeks apart with a lot of shared guests. I wore the same outfit. I don't think anyone would care if you wore the same. Obviously if you want two outfits then go for it. Great idea to get something made.
