Decent fitting clothes for 36 year old

I am really struggling to find clothes that don't make me look to young/old/frumpy/show every single lump! I used to go to White Stuff for dresses as they had a style that really suit my small top and curvy hips but I can't see anything this season. I'm struggling with tops too. And things to wear over the tops. I am currently doing slimming world but would like nice stuff until I get to target. I can't find anything that looks nice in Next either. Please can you tell me where you shop!

This season is a write off... last year I found some great stuff in Zara, French connection, banana republic and H&M. This season, it's like nobody wants my money - horrible, unflattering tat everywhere.

Wot SexNames said.

Yep. Haven't bought anything new since last summer except boring work shirts and Uniqlo basics. Just waiting it out.

This sums it up for me.

I'm older than you, but I'm not tempted by anything either. It has never happened before that I can walk around Zara and not find something I like. Now I wonder what on earth possessed them. They're never going to get rid of the ruffle sleeve monstrosities on every rail. Even in a £2 sale they won't move.

Ah, I'm glad it's not just me!

I got a lovely skirt from & Other Stories, but that's it!

Glad it's not just me! Honestly what is it with all the 'cold shoulder tops'?! I don't want bits cut out in random places. And sleeves on stuff are really tight. I think I may have to bide my time but I feel like I'm just wearing the same clothes all the time.
