Hi all,

I can't really ignore the bloody hairs on my upper lip and chin much longer. There only used to be a few which tweezers could sort out.

I get my eyebrows threaded quite often, and much prefer the results compared to waxing.

I know it's going to hurt, pretty sure I can deal with that. What I'm concerned about it the regrowth - does it come back as spikey stubble? I don't think I could live with that!!!

I have my top lip done whenever I get my eyebrows done. Mine certainly doesn't grow back stubbly, I've found that it grows back more slowly and a bit finer just like my brows.

The only thing I find is that I sometimes get a few spots appearing a couple of days later, but if I use a gentle exfoliatior on the area for 3-4 days after having it threaded this seems to prevent it. I have very spot-prone skin though.

I get lip and chin done regularly. Just be aware the pain for the lip is much worse than brows. Regrowth is fair and downy.

That's encouraging, thanks both.
And I'm expecting the lip pain to be agonising!

I find it too painful for the upper lip. Its like death by 1000 cuts. Never tried the chin :)

Christ, it hurts like a mofo, more painful than childbirth.

Try electrolysis. It works and is permanent.

I get my brows threaded, but only tried it on my upper lip once. Was utter agony and gave me spots. Went back to Immac!
