Trousers for a wedding

I'm not good at clothes at the best of times but would like to make an effort for a friend's summer wedding.

Can anyone give me any suggestions on where to start looking for trousers or a summery trousers suit that isn't workish please?

I got some nice pink trousers from Next a few weeks ago that I wore for an evening do. I'm wearing them again next week for MILs 60th.

These: www.next.co.uk/g7510s9#957769

They are styled awfully there but I wore them with pale pink stiletto sandals, a cream suedette biker jacket (a blazer would work too) and a pink/cream top.

Could you give us an idea of your size and shape please?

I like those Next trousers! Very bright and summery.

I'm a tall size 18, with a curvy hourglass, bit of a tummy, decent boobs and (I'm, told) elegant ankles.

Those Ted Baker ones are lovely but not quite for me (or my size).

What about these?
pink
white
patterned

I like the pink ones, they'd definitely be a bit groovy.

And show off your ankles Wink

Absolutely!

You're a similar shape to me. I'm tall and recently dropped from an 18 to a 14. These were my first 14 trousers, so I have extra love for them, but they are flattering on a curvy figure.

If you're tall what about a jumpsuit? Phase Eight have some nice ones.
