What style of dress to "hide" a pregnancy?

Hi all,

We've been invited to a wedding when (fingers crossed) I'll be 19 weeks pregnant. We are hoping not to share the good news until after the anomaly scan (for various reasons). What style of dress should I look for, that might be a bit forgiving around my abdomen. I used to Have an hourglass (ish) shape but have a bit of a "section overhang" from my last pregnancy... usually wears size 12

Empire line?

Something with ruching over the belly, and an overall pattern

But TBH you might be being optimistic to be able to conceal a second pregnancy at 19 weeks...

A loose fitting waterfall top is good. I wore them at work Roman customers didn't know I was pregnant till 6 months. Or a maxi dress x

Cos has loads of dresses that 'hide' bumps. I like Cos and as a result lots of people didn't realise I was pregnant until the 3rd trimester.

Not sure if this would work:

I second the suggestion for a waterfall top (or cardigan). I used one with a loose shirt to conceal my 4-5 month bump in an amdram show where my character could very definitely not be pregnant!

Thanks all for the suggestions!
Olennas I'm optimistic but not the end of the world if it doesn't work out!! 😁 We're delighted, but would prefer to have the anomaly scan done first
