Cremo I was taking advantage of the 20% off on Asos. Last night I used the Buffet & the hyaularonic acid followed by rosehip oil. All good so far. I didn't try the niacinamide but will wait for your further reports on it.

Stropperella · 31/05/2017 06:41

Good luck today, BD.

NUFC69 · 31/05/2017 07:05

A sad day today as we are off this afternoon to our friend's wake: they are having a private family burial and we're meeting afterwards. They have requested bright clothes and, of course, we will do that, but it seems disrespectful somehow, in my mind, for DH not to wear a suit. Odd really, for I am not worried about wearing something colourful.

Good luck, BD.

msmargarita · 31/05/2017 07:41

Good luck today BD.

Good luck with catching up Stropps.

Good Luck BD

Stropps, I think we need your rellys no.s so we can tell them to fuck iff and leave you alone!

motherinferior · 31/05/2017 08:27

NU, it will be very hard. Will be thinking of you.

Stropps, I agree with BTM.

motherinferior · 31/05/2017 08:28

Herbs, how are your drawers? (S&B innit)

MsMartini · 31/05/2017 08:28

NU, suits are more hard-wired I guess? It will be sad, I hope it goes smoothly. How is his wife doing?

IDismyname · 31/05/2017 08:36

I'll echo the 'Good Luck BD' for today. Hang on in there, girl!

NUF I think suit and a jaunty tie or shirt would be best note to strike today. Hope it goes as well as it can.

I'm feeling on a more even keel after my wobbly day yesterday. Thank you all for your support.

magimedi · 31/05/2017 09:14

Flowers NU - agree with suit & jaunty tie.

Good Luck, BD.

Rosenspants · 31/05/2017 09:26

NU Flowers

Best of luck BD No transition is easy or clear cut, but over all this is very positive!

Bit Envy re MMs Clarke code...have just bought DD trekker sandals and ordered in a pretty pair for her and paid full price. Boo.

herbaceous · 31/05/2017 11:22

Have failed to do anything useful yet today, other than watch Homes Under the Hammer, which I do love so.

Meeting DP for lunch then doing Sensible Shopping for DS, such as sandals and bike helmet. Third bike helmet in six months, as he manages to lose them at school somehow. Then perhaps some kind of reward, such as run around the Olympic Park...

Drawer news - still stuck. Didn't see MM's hint of removing bottom via lower drawer - don't think that's possible. It's Ikea, which while sturdy is impossible to dismantle from the outside.

MsMartini · 31/05/2017 11:57

Herbs, other thing I have done is use unwound coat hanger to get inside drawer and wrench The Thing downwards, jerking it forwards so it then catches underneath the lip rather than springing back up.

Can I really have spent as much of my adult life wrestling with drawers as my posts imply?Grin

motherinferior · 31/05/2017 12:09

You're like a Victorian Lothario, MrsM.Wink

Cremolafoam · 31/05/2017 12:22

Herbs how infuriating. However i do thing an unbent coat hanger might do it.

Skin feels peachy this morning in spite of row with dh and acknowledge sleep. Small mercies.

Thanks Flipflops for code. I am still looking for ideal unfugly walking sandal for Pyrenees.

Cremolafoam · 31/05/2017 12:23

Acknowledge ??? Lack of

IDismyname · 31/05/2017 14:12

Herbs - would this work?

bigTillyMint · 31/05/2017 14:42

Am Loling at the drawer advice on an S&B thread Grin

IDismyname · 31/05/2017 15:34

Well, I felt duty bound to suggest something as its obviously causing Herbs more frown lines than she needs :)

Its a tenuous link, but hey....

MrsKlugscheisser · 31/05/2017 19:34

Gosh you lot move fast. I am pinned to the bed by a surfeit of food. Think I will go for a cleansing breakfast tomorrow. Just seen time of flight on Friday and hardly worth going to bed...

motherinferior · 31/05/2017 19:37

Party the night away surrounded by adoring young men?

herbaceous · 31/05/2017 19:51

Delighted to announced drawer is now open. Purely by the power of jiggling.

I am assailed by smells. Cat pee (on cat), cat poo (in litter tray), blocked drain (outside), compost bin (inside). Opening a window to rid kitchen of indoor smells lets outdoor smells in instead.

MsMartini · 31/05/2017 20:03

Jiggling, jiggling? Wot, no coat hangers, robots, magnets needed?

herbaceous · 31/05/2017 21:00

I know! I opened the drawer underneath, and gave it an extra-special jiggle, with a touch of vertical plane and an attempt at a figure-8.

Ooh, magnets though. That's a wizard wheeze. Though not sure they'd have penetrated the wooden cutlery holder in the drawer...

Have bought a jacket, I'm sure you'll all be thrilled to know. Lightweight, waterproof, windproof, breathable and stylish - something I've been searching for for years. It is a 'block tech' parka from uniqlo, and was put through its paces in a light drizzle on the way home from Olympic park. Glad to report no wetness within, either from rain or sweat.
