Do you have this haircut? How easy is it to maintain? For a Lazy slattern that stays in bed till the last minute busy person.

I like the soft curls in second pic but I only own a babyliss curl secret- no tongs or straighteners, possible??

Or will I just look like worsel gummidge??

I'm late 20s, 5'3 and kinda slight if that makes any difference.

I have a choppy bob (too lazy to put the waves in) and I love it! Cut it in myself with a bit of a scruffy fringe when I first got pregnant - mainly because I was throwing up constantly and hated tying my boob-length hair back!
I'd only really recommend it if your hair is medium-thick and reasonably textured as if you have soft fine hair it can look kind of lacklustre and flat and requires more work.

Pro bob tip - put it up in a scruffy bun or plaits when you go to bed, by morning you'll have lovely waves, brush and fluff up then hair spray or scrunch in some wax! Probably takes about 5 minutes total and looks like you've put a lot of effort in.

Ooh thank you! I was imagining it was going to be really awkward to look after, I've got thick shoulder blade length hair that is always tied up in a bun as I'm clueless with styling!

I do. I find it easy. But mine is naturally wavy so I just let it dry itself or turn my head upside down for a quick blow dry

I'm thinking it would be nice to have a bit of body! At the moment my hair is always flat at the scalp as the weight drags it down

I have it (most like the 1st pic). I loved it. Really easy to do as I have naturally wavy hair so I just let it dry naturally to get the wave. I did wonder if this sometimes made me look scruffy or whether it was ok. That was my only worry with this haircut. If you took time to actually tong it you wouldn't have that worry.

I have something similar. After I've washed it, I put it in a microfibre turban for half an hour, brush it out then put it in a looped ponytail (where you don't pull the hair fully through the band iyswim). I usually leave it overnight, and next day it's got a lovely bouncy wave.

Mostly I part it and blow dry it, sometimes (like right now) I part it and leave it dry naturally.

If I'm going out, or feeling fancy, I put wave in with the straighteners.

I also straighten it occasionally too.

I just got this hair cut a couple of days ago (due to having a newborn who loved to rip chunks of my lovely long hair!). I asked for an long inverted choppy bob (and showed her similar pics)

Its really easy to look after, I hardly brush it and it adds to the choppy look. The hairdresser just fluff dried it and scrunched in some product and it looked great. She did say you need to use straighteners to get those distinct waves if you want it to look more like the first pic but I'm happy just airdrying for every day

i think it helps if you have natural waves though to give it that volume though
