Jumpsuit yay or nay (pic included)

I'm the wrong side of 35, a size 12 & carry my weight around my hips as you can see!!
I generally feel crap about my size, but am going out at the weekend & want to look good.

I have got toned arms & quite perky DD's, so that's something at least. I will be wearing a jacket & jewellery. I have a bright yellow blazer & a nude pink blazer.

These are the jackets & shoes. The flatter ones don't really go & I do need a bit of height.

You look FAB. It seems a pity to hide any of your top half in a jacket, I am worried it will hide your neat waist and make the outfit look a lot less funky? I was wondering about a little wrap or cardi or something instead?

I'm going against the grain and saying no. Not because of your figure (which is fab) but I think the tapered leg is a bit frumpy.

Mm, yes about the tapered leg, it also makes my thighs look bigger than they are.
And yes to the jackets, both hide my waist.

What to do?
One thing's for sure, I am not wearing skinny jeans & a nice top.

Wear the jacket when outside and take it for when inside.

Add some chunky jewellery and a bold lip if you like it.

I would probably get higher wedge shoes. The tapered leg doesn't work with the open toes shoes.

I hate jumpsuits so was all set to say no but bloody hell that really suits your shape and you look fab!

I'd go for the yellow jacket too and def high shoes. Have you got any high strappy sandals?

Yellow jacket and open toed shoes gets my vote.

The jumpsuit looks fab, cracking figure. The court shoes look better because they are streamline, the strappy shoes don't look right because they have sticky out bits that detract from the smoothness of the jumpsuit. Would you consider sparkly shoes?

I would be wary of the yellow jacket I always think black and yellow together looks like a bee, sorry!
I'd go for a higher open toed shoe, something metallic or sparkly, the pale jacket and a sparkly or metallic bag.
Or the higher shoes you have are fine too.

I have these, but they are so high & hard to walk in. Otherwise I have nude kitten heels & they look awful. Maybe I need to invest in some new ones.

I vote yellow jacket and open toes (high heels not low). I think the court would look too office-ey .

Also came on thinking jumpsuits always look wrong. But I'm wrong. You look fabulous! Either blazer but definitely open for sandals. Have fun!

I am going to go against the grain and say no. You do have a nice shape but the material of that will mean every lump and bump will show. It reminds me of a the sort of thing Coleen Nolan wears.

Much better stuff out there. Structured , wider legged trousers would look nicer.
