White jeans that aren't see through

Looking for a pair of white jeans that aren't see through. Usually buy jeans from oasis or Zara but tried some oasis ones and they were really thin fabric. Perhaps Zara better.

Have also tried some m and s ones on but same problem.

Is there a good go-to place for these?

Thanks

You'd be better of buying nude knickers with no VPL.

C0RAL · 16/05/2017 16:56

Ah but nude knickers don't hide the pocket problem . If anything they make it worse.

dailystuck71 · 16/05/2017 17:11

What do,you mean pocket problem?

SippingSipsmith · 16/05/2017 17:59

Yes both the pocket problem and vpl. Driving me mad when I try them on.

I think CORAL means being able to see the lining of the pockets through the jeans as well.

Next jeggins? Haven't had a pocket problem before.

I bought some nice ones from Primark, sewed up the pockets and cut out the pocked inner.

Zara! I've also had a good pair from topshop and from Paige.

A few years ago, I got a pair of waxed white jeans from Zara and they were the best ever.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 16/05/2017 19:26

I've just bought a nice thick pair from Levis.

jcscot · 16/05/2017 19:53

Gap do good quality white jeans.

namechange20050 · 16/05/2017 19:56

Topshop Baxter

SippingSipsmith · 17/05/2017 11:24

Thanks all!

Will try Zara. Levi's thick denim isn't stretchy enough for me to get over my thunder thighs! Will look at Topshop too.

I had exactly the same problem Sipsmith (great name BTW, mmm taste those aromatics!) - I've lost count of the number I jettisoned because of the pocket issue! I found some by Great Plains last year and they're perfect. Thick enough but with stretch to accommodate the pear-shaped thighage. Now if someone can recommend light coloured work trousers without the great pocket problem I'll be a happy bunny.

Boden - I have bought their white jeans most years - last year's had nude colour pocket lining - perfect

DressageNut · 18/05/2017 07:52

Agree, Boden!

DressageNut · 18/05/2017 07:52

Agree, Boden!

Brilliant! Am about to place an order for Boden sandals so will add the jeans in. Thanks

Grinpear shaped thighage! Sounds much better than thunder thighs! Will use, thanks!!
