I've bought this dress. I have brown/tan shoes that look good. Can you style it up for me please? I'm generally a bit more punky/rock chick than this, but it looks really nice on. Do I need a splash of colour? HELP - I don't want to be so generic & bland.

Suede waterfall style jacket in a neutral colour and straw hat. Floppy or panama. Try a hint of coral with your bag and necklace.

Easiest to rock it up with hair and makeup eg rockerbilly strong eyeliner and 50s curls

Are you sure the dress is the right one for you? It doesn't sound as if you like it much! Maybe take it back and spend the money you'd have spent trying to make this dress feel more 'you' on a different dress that you love?

I do like it . It's very flattering. (I've gained weight since quitting smoking). I'm just not used to the "pretty woman" look.

I think the rockabilly it up thing will be perfect. I quite often do a quiff/ bandana combo which the bride loves me in..... this could work.
I have some coral bits too... jewellery I've made myself so is my style. It seems it was a good choice

Take it back and buy something more "you". Oasis have some nice ones, as do the pretty dress company.
