How long does your Botox last for?

Hello I was hoping you wouldn't mind sharing your experiences with me.

I have heavy horizontal forehead lines and have been having these injected for about eight years. I have botox under the brandname Vistabel for this.

I really like the results but they are very short term and by three months I am back for a top up before I turn into Gordon Ramsay again. Sometimes two and a half months.

I see the odd post where MNers say their botox last much longer and I am wondering what other experiences were.

I do ask the doctor to use a light touch as I don't like the frozen look, so maybe this contributes or is there a stronger version of botox that other people opt for?

Thanks in advance!

About 4 months. I can then see the lines again I have mine done every 5 months. I only have one vial though. I think its about the amount you put in rather than the strength of the botox as such. My practitioner also puts most of it in and then I go back two weeks later for her to check what it has done and she then finishes it off. That way I only ever get a very natural look.

I have had two vials before but it made my brow feel heavy.
