Swimming after Waxing

I went for my 1st brow wax today (mostly because I wanted my top lip doing too) and she went through the don't do various things afterwards including a bath! I thought fine I don't do baths just showers. However when I was doing baby swimming with my DS I thought, ahhhh probably not good. I tried not to get splashed. However my skin is feeling tight now. Is it ok to wash the chlorine off and moisturise? Or am I best leaving it? Help! Know I've been stupid.

I wouldn't worry too much. I always just put a bit of Vaseline on after a quick cool face wash when I have done this. Swimming is actually ok in theory according to my therapist, it's hot showers etc that's the no no.

Thanks jeaux90! I was leaning towards giving it a cool wash and moisturising. I use simple stuff anyway so hoped it would be ok. Next time i won't book it for a Thursday. Smile
