Hot and fat and nothing to wear :-(

I literally need to throw out half of my wardrobe. I cannot squeeze myself into anything at all. I have gone from a size 8/10 to a 16 in two years and the weight is still going on. I cannot control it, I cannot control me, and I hate it. I have no power to give up food. Or wine. Or time to exercise. Or head space to do much at all. I've always felt fat even when I was 9st. It's making me so sad.

It's come to a head tonight as we have a dress down day at work tomorrow. Nothing looks good or right. I have a few winter things that just about fit but sunmer clothes aren't fitting. What can a size 16 person wear? I realise it's not going to help tonight but I can't spend the whole summer sweltering and hating myself 😢

I feel your pain I cried at work yesterday about my size the only person who can do something about it is me. I'm going in holiday soon and I don't even want to go as I feel to fat, when I was on AD I lost weight I'm not in them now. I'm a hit menopausal mess. But no one else sees me that way. Get some Joni jeans and some long loose tops works for me. On the outside I'm ok on the inside I'm not but once I've had this holiday I'm quietly doing skimming world

Sorry to hear you are feeling so crap about clothes for work OP, I have been there.
The average U.K. Woman in 2017 is a size 16 OP, so probably about half the population of women is smaller than you and half is bigger than you.
If you have lots of smaller women in your office this may have skewed your perspective about how normal you are.
I would concentrate on wearing the colours that suit you at least on your top half. I find dresses the easiest and most comfortable way to go for summer and once you work out what shapes suit you you can buy more cheaply on eBay. And add a necklace and a smile to complete the look.
