What jeans to update my look?

I'd like to get some jeans to wear this summer which will update my look a bit. I've got several pairs of skinnies, but other than that only a long-serving pair of simple straight-legs. What style should I go for?

For context: I'm short (little over 5') and early 30s. I'm all boobs and bum so need something with a fit that goes in on the waist if possible. I tend to get my jeans from M&S as they fit this criteria in my experience.

Do I go for a wide legged crop style? Or something straighter with turn ups?

I've just bought two pairs from
Top shop. Also mid 30's and much bigger bum than waist. I find their higher waisted cuts are cut really well for me. They go in well at the waist (Jamie and Joni for skinny ones) but they have a new 'Orson' straighter one with the same higher waist that I'm going to try out. Also some cropped styles. I find Oasis high waisted ones are good if you have hips as well.

Ps I'm roughy a 12 and the top shop 30" waist fits to a tee.

I have some cropped or ankle grazer from Gap, Fat Face and Topshop. Skinnies and straight leg.
