I've used Simple Oil Balancing Exfoliating face wash for years, but now can't find it anywhere. Sad
So I'm looking for an alternative that works for combination skin, but also bearing in mind that I'm in my forties, won't just strip the oil and leave my skin dry. Nothing too fancy or super pricey, just an everyday facewash.
Any recommendations of what you use would be great!

In my forties with combination skin that can get flare ups of red patches with some products. I use Witch face wash products, witch hazel based, they do a foaming face wash and an exfoliating one. Neither are expensive and both work well for me- I do moisturise after though.

Sorry, I know this wasn't your question but the Simple face wash seems to still be available online if you want to keep using it? Assuming I found the right one!!

Boots
Superdrug

I have similar skin and use Clinique liquid facial soap - may be a bit pricier than you were looking for but it does last ages.

i've moved to using a cleansing oil & my skin has never been better. i use it 6 days out of 7 & on the other day use an exfoliater. I'm convinced my wrinkles don't look as bad or at least aren't getting worse. i'm not in the U.K. so can't tell you which brand to use but there are lots in Boots & Superdrug

I recently discovered the Waitrose Pure facewash (bought a travel size for a weekend away) and it's amazing, I prefer it to the Clinique I was using before. I think it's about £2 for a full size one.
