Non staining suncream

Hi, I cant find a recent thread with any recommendations for factor 30 or 50, non staining suncream. I saw on a thread from 2012 that a calypso one was recommended but things might of moved on since then. Why do they all seem to stain yellow, or I guess an alternative question could be what gets the yellow stains out?

I can't provide a very helpful solution, however I can say that sun sense isn't as bad as some of them and la Roche posay is horrendous for staining (and also feels horrible on your skin). Also ultra sun isn't too bad. Generally I don't wear anything white when I have to wear suncream though!

I always get Tesco own brand factor 50 - it's got the 5 stars on the back as well. I've never been conscious of it staining anything - wore the same dress for several days across the same holiday in Vegas last year whilst slathering it on and didn't have any problems. Smells lovely (coconutty!) too

Nuxe.

Lovely stuff and non staining.

Ultra sun sports is a clear gel, lasts all day and doesn't stain

Nivea have a new, non-staining suncream

nickdrakeslovechild · 11/05/2017 14:55

ooh thank you, I love the smell of NUXE products but for a household of redheads gets a bit expensive on the suncream front. I think I have used Tesco before. Will look out for the new Nivea one and Ultra sun.

Look up (and read about) "altruist" sunscreen - you can only buy via amazon

Ultrasun sport. I recently got a great deal from gorgeous shop online. I think I paid £24 for a family size bottle. It's got great reviews and unlike p20 apparently it won't stain.

I've not noticed sunsense staining and I've been slapping it on the kids all week before school and they wear white polo shirts.

I normally buy the 500ml bottle which lasts most of the summer plus the roller ball ones for their school bags.

Yes sunsense! just bought it. thank you.

I know this is a zombie thread but I’m posting on it to save someone else finding it and buying the ultrasun sport, which does, sadly, stain white shirts very badly!

Any recommendations for non staining sunscreens on white clothes for the perma-pale?

SuddenBeetE · 24/07/2019 11:24

Green people organic. 2 of my DS are super pale and need cream on under school shirts and this doesn’t stain.

ReadingRitingRithmatic · 24/07/2019 12:00

Thank you @SuddenBeetE I’ll give that a go

Sunsense as recommended in this thread in 2017! They do a nice big pump dispenser (got mine from Amazon) so great for all the family
