At the risk of sounding like a sandal pervert you'll anyone be willing to post a photo of their foot wearing the sandals?! I'm trying to work out if the ankle strap is likely to work for me. I don't live near shops.

Other suggestions for heeled "day" sandals greatly appreciated!

Oh dear. You do indeed all think I'm a sandal pervert.

I can't post a photo, but can answer questions? What is it about the ankle strap you're worried about?

oneburgerofham · 10/05/2017 18:59

Is this any help? Forgive the ugliness of my feet, they are my least redeeming feature.

Thanks! They look like a perfectly normal pair of feet. I'm just quite short and have, erm, muscular legs. Was wondering how thick the strap is. I think it might be too thick and add to the stumpiness. Boo.

You are very welcome. The strap's about 2cm thick I would say. They are really comfy, I love mine. Order them, you can always send them back!

I have think ankles and that type would make it worse tbh
How about sling back style?

taybert · 10/05/2017 20:15

I like these but worried the strap will slip down- probably not such a problem in the flats but might lead to snapped bones in the wedges!

I really like them and didn't find the strap too lumpy. Might it depend on the leg length/ ankle shape you have? You might be better trying them on...

Yeah, it's sensible to try them. I was just trying to avoid the parcel delivery post office cycle.

My ankles are actually ok, it's the rest of my legs which are short and sturdy. They just tend to look better with a thinner strap.

I can’t find them. They’re all sold on amazon. Anyone not like theirs?
