What bag do you use to carry laptop?

I hate my laptop bag. It's horrible. I need a nice bag to carry laptop, charger, papers etc - it doesn't have to be a laptop bag just big enough and sturdy enough to carry all my stuff.

I got a black leather tote from TK Maxx. It has 3 compartments so fits everything in no problem, and looks stylish. I did look at laptop bags but the leather ones were very expensive.

I use Crumpler, sturdy and padded, compartments, nice colours.

Knomo! I have a Curzon and it's awesome.

I was thinking about a leather tote rather than a laptop bag as I prefer the look

I have a Kipling Superwork. It is bright pink but they change the colours and fabrics regularly and the current range are all more business like shades of black/grey/navy. It has plenty of room and seems very sturdy. It looks like new after nearly a year of use for work.

I have been having a nightmare as had a perfect bag that fitted laptop and A4 papers in but the cross body strap (when on the train and tube) is breaking. Just been debenhams and managed to get a Jasper conran black bag with zipped top, cross body strap and tons of room and its really nice - my birthday today so birthday money off parents has been spent :)
Its not on the debenhams website - osrry just looked but if you look in store it has a strap that comes over the top and secures at the front.Reduced from £175 down to £87.50.
did look in Kurt Geiger but the only one they had was too small and no zip across.

Depends on how much you want to spend. I have a Knomo bag and love it. Stylish and practical but it is spendy.

I use one this shape, from the same place but last season and was very cheap! (I actually like this one so might get it as well!)

I carry lunch, umbrella, laptop, paperwork. Then I have an across body small handbag for phone, purse, tickets, Kindle etc.

I have a Cath Kidston bag for work that my laptop fits in perfectly; it's got a padded container for laptops and lots of other pockets, too.

NanoNinja · 10/05/2017 20:04

Knomo too. Keep an eye on the sales - there are often some real bargains. Mine was gbp 24 down from 90.

macymacy · 10/05/2017 21:57

Coach. Perfect for everything and brilliant quality. I get my Mac in it everything else for work very easily.

Acornantics · 10/05/2017 22:11

I have a Knomo bag, it's black, slimline with long and short handle, quilted/padded and is fab. I picked it up in TKMaxx for about £20 a few years ago, I didn't realise it was a decent brand, I just liked the look of it. Has lasted really well.

Crumbs1 · 10/05/2017 22:30

I have a bright red dotted Kath Kidson bag that I don't muddle up with everyone else's and always remember to pick up after a meeting. Unfortunately several colleagues also liked it so went out and bought one too.

Happycow · 10/05/2017 22:38

I have just invested in a knomo for going back to work after mat leave (was half price in the sale)... I love it!

Gbean · 11/05/2017 17:08

I've remembered a bag I have stored away and LOVE. It's only a £50 River Island bag but it's the ideal size. I've dug it out and given it a clean, think I'll get a laptop sleeve and I'm good to go!
