What to buy in America?

Travelling to the US next week. I'll be doing some shopping but with the rubbish exchange rate am wondering if there's still anything that's better value over there. Any recommendations?

Find an outlet mall for some bargain clothing.

Old Navy was good value - Gap's cheaper little brother.

Go mad in the candy aisle (just avoid the Hersheys)!

I live in the US. Nothing is really cheaper apart from American brands. Look for a good outlet mall.

I would by Little Debbie cakes and chips ahoy cookies and other food that you cannot find here. Trader Joe's peanut butter cups. So many good things. I have also been watching a lot of Dollar tree shopping videos and there are so many cute things on there that I would love.

Something else you need to check out too is David's Tea.

It's a tea shop selling all sorts of funky teas, to have in the cafe or buy to takeaway. The 'Cold 911' is brilliant.

Not sure which city you're headed to, but definitely worth a visit.

If you can find an outlet village you can still get some bargains, but it's a bit more hit and miss

Sephora is worth a perusal, and Bath and Bodyworks. TJ Maxx often has brands like Nautica or Vineyard Vines that don't make it over to the UK, and Ralph Lauren is much cheaper too - though no guarantee you will hit the jackpot on your visit.

Second the TJ Maxx and Trader Joe's recommendations. Also get yourself to a Sephora. Certain brands are cheaper in the US because of import fees.

Also if you have pets, go to a Petsmart or Petco. The toy section has things you won't find in the U.K.

Ooh yes, Bath & Body Works, especially if you have teenage daughters/relatives.

I would splurge in bath and body works, the best shower gels ive ever used, and the candles.

Aero for tops, jc penny for jeans -ana jeans are very comfy, fossil for bag or watches although not as good a bargain as they once were. Also sephora at jc penny, id buy the face masks as they are fab, the ones you sleep in.
