Strapless would be the way, yes. The wonderbra ultimate strapless is excellent. It needs to be properly fitted though or it'll not work. A 34 bra band would probably make you about a 14 or 16 dress size, is that right or have you been measured using the wrong old +4 to underbust system?

Chillyegg · 08/05/2017 21:14

Im actually a 12/14...maybe i should go get refitted. Also what shoes and accessories?

Wouldn't wear that dress if you've got more than bee-stings. Sorry.

MrsLettuce · 08/05/2017 21:22

Accessories wise, it depends! What's the occasion?

You should probably measure for a bra, yeah. Bravissimo are good if you can get to one. Bra measuring is really simple. The under-bust measurement is band size and the over-bust measurement should be taken without a bra on while bending forward 90 degrees. Each inch of difference in the measurements is a bra size, so 34 under and 38 over would be a 34D. 32 under and 38 over a 32DD and so on.

A night out on the town.

And i know my general thoughts were im too booby for this dress. However everything at the moment is ridiculously low cut or has a stupid ruffle or in a horrendous neon colour with spaghetti straps and has cut outs. Sad

I'd wear a black lace bralet - it's not to everyone's taste (!) but underwear as outer wear is a thing ATM and seeing a hint of Lace would look fine. And be more comfortable than a strapless bra

Intransige · 08/05/2017 21:42

What about this dress instead? Very similar but with thicker straps so you can wear a proper bra?

Chillyegg · 08/05/2017 21:48

Thanks pp ive actually ordered the dress in the op...not to find of the square neckline although i do apreciate the thicker strap would be more sensible.

how about this? or this?

Chillyegg · 08/05/2017 22:16

I really like the boohoo one, is stil need a strapless bra though

MrsLettuce · 08/05/2017 22:29

yy would still need a strapless bra. I thought you were wanting to buy one though Smile

MrsLettuce · 08/05/2017 23:06

(It was the dress in the OP people were objecting to, not the idea of you wearing a strapless bra)

QueenMortificado · 08/05/2017 23:25

People were only objecting to the dress because the OP would need to wear a strapless bra.... so suggesting other dresses that also need a strapless bra probably isn't the answer Smile

MrsLettuce · 08/05/2017 23:31

Really? I thought it was down to the expanses of breast that'd be visible Confused

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 09/05/2017 13:32

Vast expanses of breast and bra - even a strapless one - I'd have thought

BitOutOfPractice · 09/05/2017 13:39

I'm afraid I agree. I don't think that dress would work at all with a larger bust. I think you'll be spilling out of it. The bust triangle thingies look TINY!
