Anyone had eyelash extensions?

I'm really tempted to try these but as I've never even tried false eyelashes I'm scared, does anyone have them done? I don't want to look like a pantomime dame.

Have them, love them. Mine are quite fine so don't look unnatural. They really open up your eyes.
The downside is the upkeep. You need to see the beautician every 2-3 weeks. And it takes 1 - 2 hours. It's v hard to make the time.

I had them to advertise for SIL business moving to the local area (I'm never, ever dressed up or even wear makeup so the theory was people would notice them on me 😂) I'm addicted!

Had them for an event last year and they were lovely ... I went for a natural look and they looked great. Beautician said not to use eye makeup remover or cleanser near them, and taking eye makeup off around them with just a cotton bud and warm water was tricky and I didn't feel my face was properly clean! She said how long they last depends a lot on how oily your eye lids are so mine only lasted a week and the most annoying thing was they fall out faster on the side you sleep most on, and I ended up with one eye bare and the other still quite fluffy! Wink But overall I would recommend.

I had these continuously for about three months, as JohnCheese said it does take quite a lot of upkeep but they did look fantastic! I wouldn't get them again though because when they were removed my own lashes were really damaged and are still in the process of recovering.

Had them for about 6 months and they were fantastic. They make you look, I don't know, awake and youthful or something. But expensive and time consuming. I was paying £60 every three weeks for infills. When I finally got them off it took another six months for my lashes to recover. I miss them, though.
