Where can I find a nice cotton nightie?

M&S used to do nice ones with a French name (Les Senteurs de Provence maybe?) but now only seem to have polyester crap.

I'm after just above the knee, cotton/natural fibres, um that's it really.

Any recommendations?

Thank you!

How about this from TK Maxx, 100% cotton.
www.tkmaxx.com/womens-nightwear+lingerie/ivory+grey-embroidered-chemise/invt/50001326
I've had good cotton nightwear from there before and there is usually a selection of fairly contemporary styles.

It depends on your build of course but I buy lovely thick cotton nighties from Evans

Lands End do cotton jersey nighties.

Radishal · 08/05/2017 07:54

Where can you get them for children. All the ones I've seen in shops are polyester. Dd often wear big T-shirts as do I but can't find her a nice 100% cotton nightie.

Flanderspigeonmurderer · 08/05/2017 07:55

The white company

MIL got a load from Sainsbury's last week - might be worth a look? She was after the same as you - knee length and 100% cotton.

MUJI do crinkly cube dresses which make wonderful nighties.
Here
I'm not sure if they're current stock but I've seen them for £8.95 in a few stores.

There are loads of styles in 100% cotton on Powel craft Boutique website. Do ladies nighties and girls too. X

Cotton Real have lots, or TK Maxx as mentioned.

Thanks for letting me hijack a bit. Will look at suggested websites.

sonlypuppyfat · 08/05/2017 13:05

Radishal John lewis do nice girls nighties and primark do too

I have to admit to having discovered Cyberjammies recently mentioned by a PP and I think it's now unlikely that I'd buy anything else. They're not sexy, but they are cool to wear and pretty. I also like sleeveless but not strappy....quite hard to find but Cyberjammies have loads.

Radishal · 08/05/2017 13:57

Cyberjammies don't seem to be 100% cotton , at least for kids.

user1471545174 · 08/05/2017 22:07

I got a lovely one in Sainsbury's, meets all the requirements.

ohgoshIdontknow · 09/05/2017 22:11

Thanks all. Will investigate now. I looked at some Cyberjammies ones a few years ago in John Lewis and thought they weren't very good quality but maybe that has changed - will revisit.

Will also stalk TK Maxx!

I had a look at the White Co but thought they were a bit boring and also overpriced.

Thank you!

Maybe not quite as pretty as you had in mind, but H&M currently have plain, oversized cotton tshirts that reach mid-thigh length that are perfect for sleeping in. I'd been looking for ages, as I can't stand the tacky or cutesy logos that seem to always go on nightshirts, and I snapped these up when I found them.
