Best supermarket sunscreen

We're going to a hot country for 3 weeks this summer and with fair/red haired children we get through gallons of sunscreen. Usually factor 50, sometimes factor 30. Have had very good results with Sainsbury's own brand in the past, is it still a good one? Have also heard good things about Aldi own brand sun products.

I don't believe that an expensive product necessarily works better and the Sainsbury's one beat lots of the big brands in testing. They do change recipes over time though and I'm basing this on info which is probably 3 or 4 years old. Anyone got up to date recommendations?

Aldi has the highest uv factor I've seen 5* ultra.switched 2 years ago and wouldn't go back, although this years is a bit stickier than last 2 years

Do you know if they do a water-resistant one? Might pop in later and take a look to see what they have in stock. Don't want to leave it to the week before we go and then end up panic buying....

2nd Aldi. Loads of different types, dirt cheap and all 5* UVA.
