Recommendations for the UD Naked eyeshadow palettes

Hi,

I do not have any of these palettes at present so am looking for some recs. I am extremely pale skinned, eyes are grey-blue, hair currently dyed golden blonde (light brown naturally).

Despite being in my early 30s I have never got to grips with eye makeup and wear it extremely rarely as the few random bits I have (mostly stuff from Boots till now) it never seems to look right on me.

As these palettes seems to be universally popular I thought it would be a good place to start.

I figured there's probably a fair few Naked owners on here so which of the 3 versions of the palette might be best for me please?

I have the same colouring as you and like the Naked Basic 2. It's more 'everyday' colours in muted browns and creams. Some of the other palettes are more glittery / going out style but the Naked Basics 2 is (like the name suggests!) a great basic palette to start.

Superdrug sell a fantastic dupe of the original Naked palette for less than £5, I have both and while the packaging on the UD palette is gorgeous there is not a massive difference in the eye shadows.

Try that first and see how you go!

UD Basics 2 is good because there are no glittery shades to ignore.
