Waterproof warm coat that's not bulky?

Any recommendations for a waterproof warm coat for holiday that isn't too bulky either. Will be going to Wales in a few weeks with two young kids and need a new coat. Thanks

Weather will be really changeable this time of year - if you go on regular UK holidays might be worth getting a 3 in 1 if you don't have anything suitable at the moment m.cotswoldoutdoor.com/womens/jackets/3in1 or if you have something like eg a Sea Salt similar waterproof, get a light weight down jacket to slip under. Really depends what you're doing - walking coast path, go 3 in 1, more leisurely beach walking, stroll to pub to sit out in evening, the Sea Salt with layers route. This is brilliant www.seasaltcornwall.co.uk/m/women/clothing/casual-jackets-in-soft-cord-and-printed-cotton/waterproof-outdoor-coats-and-jackets/hellweathers-long-lightweight-raincoat.htm and can slip down jacket/gilet underneath.

Seasalt

Hobbs mac

It depends what you mean by warm and not bulky, do you want something warm but with a waisted shape?

Thank you so much for the suggestions. I don't want bulky/puffy down type coats. Soemthing lightweight where it will be easy to move around, mainly walking by the sea and short trails to explore the area. Layering sounds like the way to go!

Uniqlo are great - super light, warm and not bulky. Some on offer at the moment - the parka will cover your bum under a longer coat www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/women/outerwear/ultra-light-down

Seasalt Janelle fits the bill (warm but not puffy) and is on sale: www.seasaltcornwall.co.uk/m/sale/sale_2/sale-coats-jackets/janelle-waterproof-knee-length-hooded-raincoat.htm

I've got a Janelle, it's a great coat but it is really warm....you might get very hot in it (but it is at good price ready for winter).

I bought a lovely one from Regatta, with a really soft teddy lining in the hood and around the neck, but not throughout the body so it's not bulky at all.

It was really cheap too, only £22 I think. It's not the most stylish jacket, but its waterproof, windproof and warm. Perfect for chilly spring days.
