I'm a size 20-22 and I'm stuck in a rut fashion wise.I have no personal style I've been this size for several years now but have no idea how to dress for my shape ?I feel frumpy and out of touch I live in boot cut jeans and layer long tops with cardigans in various colours . I'm tall with very heavy legs so am keen to hide them, I look at all the various sites online that cater to plussize/curve (boohoo asos new look etc ) but I can't seem to put an outfit together .I usually just end up buying ANOTHER pair of statement earrings or necklace Sad I'm 33 sahm with young kids so need comfy but nice outfits for school run/shopping /days out etc would appreciate any advice or would love to hear what other plus size ladies wear day to day

I'm not sure I ever got it right either ...... I've lost weight and at a different weight now, still not sure Im getting it right!!

But, if you've got the budget .... how about buying the whole outfit you see online? A stylist has put that together, and you're drawn to it ..l. So might make sense.
Or be really clear about the different elements (colours / styles etc) and buy cheaper versions.

Then you've got actual outfits ...... Not just random items of clothing.

I am currently a size 18 but have lost weight from 20/22. If you are tall have you considered long line dresses. I use a company called navibi they are a German company (a little bit pricey) but are very good at putting outfits together for your shape. Also I use Marisota and simply be both are reasonably priced and again help with advising what is good for size and shape. Hope this helps Smile

That's the thing I find the majority of plus size clothing so unflattering looking even on the model .They really need to gather a panel of plus size ladies and ask them what they want and what feels comfortable. Most of us hate our upper arms or are conscious of them yet most tops available are sleeveless !?

If money was no object I'm sure I'd be fine but its hard to build a plus size wardrobe when its difficult to find something both flattering and reasonably priced

drquin that's a great tip thank you I will concentrate on outfits as opposed to single items Flowers

muskey thank you also didn't think of marisota or simply be I will also check out that other site you recommended also Flowers
