Mulberry long locked purse...should I?

I love the older design of the Mulberry long locked purse - the one with a straight flap over the top ( not the new one with a v-shaped flap.) Does anyone who has it recommend it? Really don't need any unhelpful comments about waste of money etc

It looks like a classic to me - what colour were you thinking of choosing?

I haven't got one myself but this blogger review is very positive.

I have an Oak Darwin one -- about 8 years old and I love it . It's big and beautiful ! The leather just gets better and better with age .

I'm considering getting the oak. Thanks for sharing the blog.

Have you ever got it stained?

I've had one for 6 or so years and love it. It expands and mine will fit my phone and keys and a crazy amount of receipts. Not so many card slots but I have separate card holder full of loyalty cards.

All the classic mulberry is being discontinued so I'd buy sharpish if you want it. The locked make up bag in the same style/leather is already completely gone, sold out and none coming in.

The oak will darken a lot with use, mine now has really rich tone. I've stained my bag in the same leather and it's sort of worn out with use as the leather has aged.
