What to wear for lunch date?

Help! First date, pub lunch (country pub, quite expensive place!) and I have no idea what to wear.

I'm thinking skinny jeans, brown ankle boots, brown tweedy-type jacket but what to wear on top half? Or a nice dress but can't find any I like.

Stats are 5' tall, size 6, so preferably petite range which is why I'm struggling to find something I like.

Crisp white shirt or t-shirt with the skinny jeans and ankle boots. Small but long statement necklace.

Or a Breton?

Or a dark or red coloured vest/shirt if you are like me and would embarrass yourself by spilling wine down your front!!
