Dress me please!

Usually I live in stripey t-shirt dresses, but in late summer I need to go to an evening do. So I need an evening dress. I haven't been to this kind of thing for years so I am a bit stuck what to wear.

I am 42, look a bit younger as I am 5'4". Size 14 bust, size 12 waist, size 10 hips so tend to suit something a bit sticky outy skirt wise. It's connected with DH's work so it can't be too outrageous, but equally I don't want to look like a dowager quite yet. I have dark hair and dark eyes, suit yellow, green, orange, dusky pink or dusky lilac type colours. Def needs to be long.

Budget is £300, could stretch a little bit more if necessary. Pushing it a bit as he's getting an award so it's definitely a special occasion.

Are these long enough or are you needing floor length?

Thanks Squ1ggle definitely the right kind of shapes, but does need to be floor length I think. I really like the colours of the second one.

What about something like this?

That's a really lovely colour Intransige and I love the crossover shape, especially at the waist. The beading on the shoulders is great too. Not sure my arms are up to sleeveless. Still, I've got nearly four months to do tricep dips...I do have a gauzy open weave blue-green shawl thing.

It has sleeves, goes in at the waist and has a sticky out skirt, and a v neck, so a good neckline for the large of chest.

It is lovely Ediepop but they only have it in a 12. I'll never get my boobs in a 12.

Why don't they have this one in the right size either? It would have worked too.
