Hairdresser magic

...how do they do it?

I understand they're trained and not doing their own hair, but how on earth do they/you do it?

I had my hair cut on Saturday (think messy bob) and loved it. It was smooth and flippy and lasted until the Monday (probably could have even gone another day)

I washed it and tried to recreate it but it just looks a frizzy mess Sad

Any hints or tips please?!

John Masters Silk and Orange styling gel would be my tip for smooth and floppy. Or Rahua texturiser for a slightly more relaxed look.

What styling tools did the hairdresser use? What do you have available to you?

If you have the styling tool but can't get on with the technique, try looking at some you tube tutorials and just practice.

Thanks for the product recommendations, will have a look at them.

He blow dried my hair and then put loose waves in with a straightener. I have a hairdryer and a curling wand, but hair that has some sort of wave/curl to it depending on what it feels like doing.
