Wedge or block heels for a wedding

I have again been invited to a wedding with a "no stilettos" rule. This keeps happening to me. I've got my dress which is navy with a pink and white pattern.

Anyone seen any nice wedges or sandals with a block heel?

Anthropologie are doing some really pretty ones atm. They have a pink suede pair with ties that could look lovely (though suede is impractical)

Ooo those pink ones are beautiful and I was just going to come on here and say wear wedges! But actually those block ones are lovely too.

Hmm, they are nice, probably a bit more than I was going to spend though. They're pretty though dammit!

And yes, not cheap but if they are as comfy as they say (and they are also a fairly classic style/colour) then they might be worth it!
