Playsuit for a wedding

I have a wedding to attend soon and am thinking of wearing a playsuit instead of a dress.

Has anyone seen any in the shops that might be suitable? Thanks.

What's a playsuit it sounds like something for toddlers. Is it shorts and top combination?

No, all in one, like a short dress but with shorts. They can look quite stylish I think, Reiss had some nice ones last year.

My very glamours teenage daughter wore one to a wedding recently and looked really good. All the caters kept offering her glasses of bubbly which pleased her greatly, given that she is well under 18.

It sounds a bit like wearing a mini skirt to a wedding - a bit too revealing? Maybe I'm just out of touch though.

I think they can look great for a wedding, just as long as they're not short AND low cut. I've seen some lovely jumpsuits and am considering getting this one for a wedding. My friend has it and it's lovely, looks classy and is not too pricey.

There's loads of jump suits around that would be great, but I'm struggling to picture a playsuit that would be ok for a wedding unless it's an extremely casual beach wedding.

I've seen lots of guests wear short dresses to weddings (done it myself) so I don't think it should be a problem. A playsuit is less likely to compromise your modesty if there's a strong gust of wind!

I think a longer jumpsuit is more likely to be appropriate for most weddings, unless it's a particularly informal one.

But the Warehouse jumpsuit is very nice lady thanks for posting. Anyone know how their sizing comes up? I am usually a 12 but have boobs and often find things tight over the bust.

Personally I would not go that short for a wedding. It's not really appropriate. Maybe for the evening party if there's an opportunity to get changed, but for the wedding itself mid thigh sounds a bit tacky.

I think just above the knee is short enough.

I wouldn't go that short for a wedding, unless I knew that others wouldl be similarly dressed or it would otherwise be deemed appropriate
