...or an extra from Towie/Miss Piggy.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for fairly natural looking ones?

Not an expert but I had individual ones for my wedding a few years back - they were placed amongst my natural ones, building up towards the outer edge. I think the MUA used eylure. Probably really fiddly but worth a look

Oh I tried individual ones but the overall effect was spoiled by the fact that I could only actually get one to stick.

This isn't much help but Eco-tools used to do the BEST natural eyelashes but they were discontinued - there are still some on eBay/amazon but for around £10. Otherwise i get the eyelure mink lashes. A lot of the problem is usually the shape/style of the lashes - i have to get ones that are longer on the ends and i trim them a little - long or equal on the inside ones look stupid on me but great on my sister.

I think the eyelureXfleurdeforce range at super drug have really natural lashes. Fleur loves are my favourite and subtle with a graduated wing, petit fleur look even more natural effect

I just trim mine down with nail scissors.
