My DD's are both prone to matted hair, the younger one more so. Can anyone suggest hair products that are good for this problem? We brush every day, use detangler spray etc.

Kids shampoos and conditioners are rubbish for them, we are currently on alberto balsam seperate shampoo and conditioner as i found and all in one product to be a bit pants too.

La Brasiliana

They do the de tangling spray which my sister uses as her hair matts so bad.

My daughter's hair matts, but I've had no trouble at all ģetting a brush through it since we started using argan oil on it (smooth on after washing and conditioning, then wait five minutes before brushing though). We got ours from Home Bargains, super cheap and so effecitve.
It's not the proper 100% argan oil, but it does the job amazing well. We've even used the Primark version, and that's was good too.

My hair matts like crazy but only in one section which I find so odd. I have never used a conditioner as good as espa which ironically I got free with a gift card, had never heard of espa. It's expensive but god does it work. When I apply it to my hair I can run my fingers through my matted area almost immediately with no matting. I'm going to try the shampoo as the conditioner is so good.

DD's hair matts and dreadlocks given half a chance. I've tried everything from LUSH Veganese to Kerastase can't remember the name. Have settled on shampooing as infrequently as possible with Waitrose natural baby shampoo, Deep conditioning every day with Frizz Ease deep conditioning treatment (covered with a shower cap so she doesn't wash it off too soon), then OGX argan oil spray. I sometimes leave the deep conditioner on her hair after the bath. I also try to keep it plaited as much as I can.
