Toner removal help

I've growing out my colour & having regular cuts to speed up the process. But- my hairdresser put a toner/rinse through it on Saturday to help blend my natural white with the last remaining couple of inches of coloured hair. I don't like it, my natural white has gone blue/ grey. She told me it would wash out in about 3 washes , needless to say it hasn't. Can anyone advise me how to remove please?!

DIL is a hairdresser, she said put tomato ketchup on dry hair for at least 30 minutes.

Thanks for your reply, that's something I would never have thought of trying!! I'm really disappointed as I liked the white coming through. Will give the tomato ketchup a try!

I've been there.

Anti dandruff shampoo such as Vosene or Head and Shoulders. Wash hair with water as hot as you can stand it, then leave shampoo on for five mins. If this doesn't work, Fairy liquid. Have a good conditioner to hand.

A much more pleasant experience than ketchup

I tried a couple of washes using clarifying shampoo last night & am currently sitting with a good lather of fairy liquid on, I'll leave it on for ten mins before rinsing. If this doesn't work it's the ketchup!

When I rinsed out the fairy liquid the bubbles looked grey so it must've removed some but now I've dried my hair I can't see any difference. Would lemon juice work? I feel like I'll wash my hair off at this rate! Thanks
