I've cut thick, coarse highlighted hair, shortish. I wash it everyday as that's the only way its manageable. However I am not a great fan of conditioners cos they appear to flatten my hair but now its looking so fly away, dry etc I don't think there is any other option.

Any recommendations for conditioners. Are the spray in/leave in better than the cream ones? Can you get a build up if you use them every day.

Any advice please.

There are foam ones now which are intended not to weigh down hair?

I have long hair and love greasy heavy conditioners so I'm the wrong person to recount personal experiences here, sorry.

I also have thick coarse hair and I honestly couldn't live without conditioner! It's one of those things that I would literally panic about if I ran out of (and thick moisturizer).
I've used the Aussie 3 minute miracle and that is the best, at the moment I'm using Herbal Essences for coloured hair. I also use a serum after, I like my hair super moistured and shiny so it might not be for you.
