Red hair dye

Can anyone recommend a decent hair dye that doesn't fade too quickly? I use Live at the moment and it washes out almost immediately! The pillar box red is my favourite but that's semi permanent and ideally I'd like permanent so I don't have to dye it so often. I just want bright red hair for longer than a week at a time! Any ideas?

I have bright red and use L'Oréal Majicontrast rouge.

I can post a pic of the colour of my hair if want?

I do mine every few month. It doesn't fade unless neglected for a year so no pink or peach tones.

I only use 6% with it as well. I've used it for 2 years now.

I use this one but copper rather than bright red. Lasts really well though

Crazy color fire.

proud that colour is fab. That's exactly what I want, but my hair is too dark naturally. Do you bleach yours before colouring or are you naturally fair?

ProudBadMum · 01/05/2017 17:19

I didn't bleach. It has a bleach life in the colour so it lifts very well on any hair.

Bleach lift*

And I'm a light brown

That's exactly the colour I want, I shall be purchasing that tomorrow! Thanks

You can get it from salon wholesalers. It's around £14 and you need 6% peroxide with it.

It's very easy to do. Once it's done once a tube will last maybe 3 dyes.

So it costs £14 maybe 3 times a year. I love it.

I use Crazy Colour "Ruby Rouge" which is great, but I think what really helps maintain the colour is this colour conditioner, it's brilliant!

Fab I also use that! Smells delish

I actually work there so try everything
