Week in Greece at beginning of June. Posh hotel that expects you to "dress for dinner"
Not planning on more than a day sightseeing (been to Crete umpteen times before and this is pure relaxation)

What would you take? Want to make sure I haven't overlooked anything obvious!

I'm in a similar situation bar the dressing up for evenings! I'm thinking dresses, many of them, jersey or cotton. I've seen a few nice ones in m&s that could be good for the pool or sightseeing, I'm not massively into separates when it's hot in the daytime... Also some jersey harem trousers for evenings with a vest/camisole top for evenings. Is it very posh for dinner or can you get away with smart casual?

Smart casual is fine I think. I pretty much have the market in slouchy harem pants sewn up!
I wish I could wear jersey dresses but I have big boobs, hips and stomach so I look like a blob in them unfortunately. My dream is to grow 5 inches and instantaneously be able to wear shirt dresses!

Depends how smart really. I take palazzo pants, a long double layered skirt and a collection of tops. Match with pretty sandals with a decent heel. That got me through dressing for dinner in the Canaries at Christmas (took a proper dressy dress for Christmas dinner itself).
