Which shoes?

Second post from me, sorry! Bought this dress today and can't decide on shoes. Which of these two? Not sure if the pale ones are too pale? Any other suggestions very welcome!

I'd get the first pair, with the closed toe. The others look a bit chirpy chirpy cheep cheep.

Lovely dress. I don't think that the shoes are too pale. Black would overwhelm the dress.

Missmac84 · 30/04/2017 21:36

Both are beautiful and would go brilliantly with the dress, but talking from experience - it depends on your skin tone. I'm pale and the pale shoes would make me look even more pale. If you have more colour to your skin then either would look fab xx

Depends how matchy you want to be - I don't think either 'go' to be honest but both are inoffensive and are unremarkable in that sense. I would wear a pink shoe that matched the pink in the dress - or a lemon. And a cardie/jacket in the other colour that I didn't choose in my shoes, iyswim

Suggest me a shoe then please Lady Grin

I am quite pale Missmac but will be putting on a light tan. The outfit is for a christening, so the ruffly ones are probably not the best choice for that.

Are ankle straps a must?

noitsnotme · 30/04/2017 21:50

They're not absolutely essential, but preferable for my own safety Grin

I would go with the second, they're more fun!

I googled the dress ind its hella short ( unless you are too) so I'm going to say that stilettos may be de trop and a chunkier heel may work?

noitsnotme · 30/04/2017 22:04

I'm pretty short Sad it's sits just above my knees. I like the colour of those, but think the block heel would make my legslook shorter and I like something on the heel of an ankle strap iyswim?

I think both pairs are fab - really hard to decide!

These would go too imo if you'd consider a block heel

I like the second pair, I'll always chose the more interesting one.
