Fitflop superballerinas

Has anyone tried Fitflop superballerinas? I tried some yesterday, they were a bit tight across the the top of the front. The sales assistant assured me they would give, but before i shell out £75 I wanted to be sure!

I'm not sure I would be shelling out £75 on those if they fitted like a glove Grin
I like these bow ones a smidge better, and my normal fit flops gave a little after wear!

Or even these which are half price!

Thanks Improbable those bow ones are nice, will see if they come in other colours - quite fancied blue or nude or even red. Yes, I know I linked black...

I don't rate any low front ballerina shoe. They all wreak havoc on your feet and make your toes claw which can cause long term damage. I prefer the clarks ones that come up much higher.

DelphiniumBlue · 30/04/2017 17:54

Oh, they have red and silver, but both with white soles. Hmmm.

I bought a pair direct from FF, had the same issue as you. Since foot comfort for me is only secondary to my childrens' welfare I sent them back. I find their skates or loafers a much better fit -although out of three pairs of skates, I sent one back with the same issue over the forefoot.

Thing is, I need something I can walk in to go with dresses or black trousers for those times when trainers or Birkies are not smart enough. Really I prefer something with a strap, but can't see any flat ones that are even borderline nice. I do take the points about ballerinas not being good for your feet, but need something presentable for smarter days.
Happy to consider suggestions - I have fairly wide feet which doesn't help. In my dreams I wear Irregular Choice shoes, but not IRL!

I have some patent superballerinas which I find comfortable and smart enough to go with dresses. I wouldn't wear them every day due to the low front issue. I only wear them about once a month or so. For every day use I wear skaters, or the Fitflop Oxford shoes for smarter days. The superOxford shoes look OK with dresses as they are quite narrow and dainty although they aren't as feminine as the ballerinas.

Had the same issue with the Fitflop ballerinas as you OP. I have wide feet too, have no problems with the trainer or sandal type Fitflops, and have several pairs of each.
I have several pairs of ballerinas and plain wedge shoes from the Clarks Unstructured range like these for wearing with dresses or smart work trousers. I can stand all day in them if required, they are that comfy!

I virtually live in FF skates for everyday. Quite fancy a pair of the ballerinas for summer - I like the silver and the denim Florrie ones - and will probably order, though looks like they may get returned as my feet are on the wide side.
