Patch test - how do you know if reacted?

I had a psych test done for some highlights 8 days ago. For the first six days there was no reaction.

However, I've now got a raised lump behind my ear. It's not sore or itchy. I'm not sure whether his is a spot, an insect bite or a delayed reaction to the patch test.

Has anyone reacted to a path test? If so, what were your symptoms?

My hairdresser always says if you are going to react, there would be a reaction between 24-48 hours.

6 days seems a bit delayed for me, I'd be leaning more towards it being coincidence.

I reacted within 48 hours.....All over my ear and a fair bit on the side of my head from the tiny patch.Very red and sore and obvious.
