Holiday wardrobe -all about my sandals!!

Going to the Algarve in a few weeks and determined to take more of a capsule/low key wardrobe with me. Anyway I was planning on buying gold sandals to go with EVERYTHING but went out today and accidentally bought some red and white Toms sandals which I fell in love with and are so comfy too. Would it be mad to now plan capsule wardrobe around my new lovely sandals? If not please help me with suggestions on colours and items to take. I need 3 dresses for pool and evening, maybe more, and trousers but happy for all suggestions to inspire me

They would go with anything navy/black/neutral/denim so I think you should be fine! You will probably want to steer clear of acid brights, neon etc. I think it depends on what you have in your holiday wardrobe as it stands...

Thanks Swimming ! I just couldn't resist them, they are outside of my comfort zone to be honest as I normally stick with tan or gold footwear so that no matter what I take clothing wise it's safe. I'm not overly matchy match but do want to look summery and a bit different to how I do day to day. As to what I have in my holiday wardrobe I have some linen tops in white, navy and green. Few kaftan in various patterns, ditto tunic dresses. I would like some simple jersey dresses and possibly some Next jersey trousers. Anybody seen anything else about?
