Currently living in a pair of gold mules from M&S. I remember my mum having them in the 90's and clopping around the house in them. They're a good way to add height without being uncomfortable. I'm converted!
Until Friday night I'd have agreed with you on the first pair, but saw someone out in over the knee, completely clear versions and she looked fantastic. Sweaty. But fantastic. Hot pants and a slouchy shirt. Not to everyone's taste but she rocked them!
