Why does deodorant turn my armpits yellow?

Just that really. And any suggestions of something I could try would be good.

I am very pale. I use the pitrock crystal which doesn't discolour my skin but would like an antiperspirant too as I live in a hot country and summer is coming. I tried one they have here without aluminium thinking it might be that which causes the yellowness but I still went yellow.

What type of deodorant are you using that causes the yellowness?

Is it a wet roll on, a dry stick or a spray?

I wonder if it's not your skin going yellow but just the deodorant itself discolouring on the skin. Not something I've ever experienced.

Any really, except the crystal one. The yellowness doesn't seem to wash off easily. I've never tried a super expensive one but I would if I thought it would be better.

So, just me then?
