Need help putting an outfit together

Help, I've bought this dress to wear for a wedding. I was thinking about silver to go with it?
I've found a bag and shoes but can't find a light jacket/Cardigan to go with it.
When I was looking at them I thought silver might be too much? But not sure what other colour I could go for.

You could do a silver clutch,heels and then a navy shrunken jacket that was quite nipped in at the waist.

I went through my choices with the bride earlier. She liked this one but I'm worried now.

I hate shopping for myself. Throw me in a kids clothing store and I'll have the time of my life shopping for the DC, I'm crap at choosing my own clothes.

I have to say, if its a straight choice, i like the first. I agree that it is a bit bridal but you could tone it down with a little cardi or jacket in a contrasting colour?

I like the second one better! Much more guest and less bride. Really pretty.

The last time I dressed up was my wedding a year ago and God only knows when I'll next get the chance so trying to make the most of it.

In dresses I'm sure I can get away with a 12. I'm normally a 14 on the bottom half 10/12 top half. I don't think I could get away with anything clingy (I've seen plenty body con dresses I like though) unless I could find some really good stomach control pants (might be a bit sweaty for June). I'm not really sure on budget. I'm on maternity leave so this ones on dh.

I've fallen in love with this one. Dh (who's giving away the bride) is wearing navy too.
Don't want silver with this one as the brides sister is wearing navy and silver. Any ideas?

I've just been told hot pink is good with navy. Never thought of putting the two together but I have found some lovely shoes.

I would go for nude, pale pink or yellow with the navy dress.

Red and navy looks a bit nautical/air steward to me.

I wouldn't go with a little jacket, or shrug type thing. I'd go with a delicate shawl.

If the dress is a more reddish lavender then I would accessorise with a soft green (trust me it works, they are complimentary opposites). If it's a more blueish lilac then I would go with pale gold.

I am going to a wedding in summer too and am also looking at outfits and thinking what to wear.

Those are fab and i think the navy and pink will look fab together
