Sons Christening HELP!

BringMeTea123 · 27/04/2017 10:34

Hi all.

My son is being Christened early June. I'm totally stuck on what to wear 😫.

I know you are supposed to dress conservative, however anything below the knee really doesn't suit me! Is something above knee inappropriate?

Could I wear a maxi dress instead? Or a maxi skirt and a nice fitted top?

I love midi dresses and midi skirts but they really just don't suit me and I don't feel comfortable in them.

I've not really been to a christening since I was a child so I'm totally clueless on the rules. It is in a church.

Thanks for any help in advance

I can't see why maxi wouldn't be appropriate, as for shorter touching the knee should be OK, wouldn't go shorter though
