Plimsolls/trainers for slightly wider feer

I have a few UK hols booked this year and will spend most of them running around after kids.

I'm after something comfy but I'm a little bit fussy Blush

I don't like the slide on sketcher type shoe like these

Converse are just a touch too small and rocket dogs plimsolls too wide and not at all comfy.

What should I go for?

I have just discovered Toms. I have wider feet and find that converse pinch but these are super comfy. They may not fit with your no slide on shoes criteria though... otherwise would have suggested rocket dogs but you've already tried them...

Sorry, not that helpful Blush

Oh - had some plimsolls from fatface a few years ago that and up wider than converse. They were good!

Ooh we have a fat face so I can go and try on there. I'll have a look at toms too. I wondered if they'd be comfy as the soles look really flimsy.

Try Superga?

I love vans so I'll have a look what I can find. I don't like superga as much but some of them are nicer
