Happy to pay up to £30 for a really good one.

I have pale, pink toned skin so nothing yellow/golden or too dark. Definitely a liquid/cream rather than a powder. Want something really glowy and illuminating but not glittery.

Not High Beam (which is fine but want something new).

Any recommendations?

Benefit Dandelion Shy Beam. Pink toned liquid highlighter with no sparkle.

Mac strobe cream

Bourjois sculpt highlight is great. It's a lovely pale pink and very glowy without being glittery

Second MAC strobe cream, and it lasts for aaaaages!

Sorrel I'm really put off by the idea of a matte highlighter which seems like a total oxymoron Confused. Will check it out in person though.

I use strobe cream as an illuminating primer sometimes but don't really enjoy it as a highlighter.

Will look at the Bourjois one next time I'm in Boots.

Keep the suggestions coming!

I love this
It's pinky toned and you can use it alone or mix with foundation. A tiny dab goes a long way.

Oooh I'm loving the look of that Lush one Germ - will definitely hunt that one down.

i really like the Nars highlighter in copacabana. its very good on my pale skin.

A silvery pink one is hush by mac - I think it's a cream base product, comes in a pot - lovely soft highlight

I've just bought hocus focus by soap and glory. Can mix it with foundation or use by its self. Only used it a few times but so far so good

If not MAC, have a look at Bobbi Brown Extra Illuminating Balm - can be worn under makeup for a 'lit within' look, or as I do and pat it on top over foundation. Not glittery or shimmery, lovely sheen to the skin.

Becca shimmering skin perfecter: it's very natural and a little goes a long way. I've had my bottle for almost five years and it's still going strong!

You can get it in space NK.
